Role: Product Manager, Internal Functions
What You Will Do:
As the Product Manager for Internal Functions, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the internal systems and processes that support Tazapay’s operations. Your goal is to ensure that internal tools are efficient, reliable, and effectively meet the needs of various departments, including risk, compliance, finance, payments, and fraud prevention.
Internal Systems Management: Define and implement a long-term strategy for internal systems, focusing on improving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.
Roadmap Execution: Prioritise initiatives based on internal customer impact, urgency, business value, and resource constraints.
Collaborative Development: Partner with engineering, operations, legal, sales, and other teams early in the product development lifecycle to shape product plans that lead to efficient and effective internal tools.
System Reliability: Ensure internal systems are reliable and performant, with a focus on system reliability, extensibility, and latency.
User Experience: Work closely with internal users, product teams, and cross-functional partners to build comprehensive and user-friendly internal tools.
Support and Training: Provide support and training for internal users to ensure effective utilization of internal systems and tools.
Risk, Compliance, and Finance: Develop and enhance internal tools that support risk management, compliance, finance operations, payment processing, and fraud prevention.
Who You Are:
Minimum Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager.
Fintech Experience is a plus.
Strong focus on product quality, particularly in designing high-performing, ergonomic, and durable internal tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate internal user problems.
Ownership mindset, willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems and improve internal processes.
Ability to analyse data, think from first principles, and achieve the right results.
Strong bias for action.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of delivering robust software solutions at scale.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
Deep understanding of complex engineering concepts.
Experience working on internal systems or tools in a financial or technology setting.
