We are looking for an experienced Senior Growth Manager with a strong background in payments and a proven track record of consultative sales. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling payment products to enterprises, demonstrating an ability to influence senior decision-makers and drive strategic partnerships.
● Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in China.
● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
● Leverage existing networks and connections in China to accelerate market penetration and identify new business opportunities.
● Understand clients' business needs and objectives, and position our cross-border payment and fintech solutions effectively.
● Communicate our value proposition clearly through proposals, presentations, and solution-based discussions.
● Negotiate commercial agreements and close contracts to maximize profitability and long-term value.
● Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet customer requirements and expectations.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Compliance, Operations, and Customer Service) to ensure seamless customer experience.
● Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, market trends, and competitive landscape specific to China.
● 8+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Growth, or Sales roles within the fintech, payments, or cross-border financial services sector.
● Senior-level expertise with a strong track record in either or both: cross-border payments and fintech solutions.
● Deep understanding of China's regulatory environment, especially relating to payments, financial services, and digital financial products (including PBOC regulations, foreign exchange controls, and licensing requirements).
● Strong professional network and an existing portfolio of relationships in China (enterprises, PSPs, banks, fintechs, e-commerce platforms, and/or local regulators).
● Independent, self-motivated, and able to operate autonomously with minimal supervision.
● Exceptional sales negotiation skills, with proven ability to manage long sales cycles and enterprise accounts.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
● Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field; MBA is a plus.
