ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Finance Analyst Intern to join the FP&A team at Tazapay. This role will support financial planning, go-to-market analysis, and investor reporting initiatives across the business.

You will work closely with the FP&A team to support grant applications, GTM performance analysis, investor data room preparation, and ad-hoc financial reporting. The role provides exposure to how financial insights support decision-making in a fast-growing fintech. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who wants exposure to corporate finance, financial analytics, and startup operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:


  • Support preparation of grant applications and supporting financial analyses, including compiling required metrics and documentation.

  • Assist in go-to-market performance analysis, tracking revenue, transaction activity, and product-level KPIs.

  • Help organize and maintain the investor data room, ensuring financial and operational materials are structured and up to date.

  • Support the FP&A team in weekly and monthly business performance reporting and management updates.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to support strategic initiatives and management decision-making.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Full-time availability preferred (3–6 months).
