The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Learning & Organizational Development (L&D) Leader to build and scale our L&D function. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to design and implement a comprehensive learning strategy from the ground up. As our first dedicated L&D leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, enhancing employee capabilities, and driving organizational effectiveness during a period of rapid growth.

You will be responsible for creating programs that not only welcome new hires but also deepen the entire team's understanding of our complex product and the dynamic fintech market. Your work will directly contribute to building a high-performance organization by developing our managers into world-class leaders and ensuring every employee has the skills and knowledge to succeed.

As the Learning & Organizational Development Leader, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

Key Activities
Onboarding Program
Design, implement, and manage a scalable, world-class onboarding program that accelerates time-to-productivity for new hires and immerses them in Tazapay’s culture and values.
Product & Market Acumen
Develop and execute continuous learning initiatives to increase the entire organization's understanding of Tazapay’s product suite, the cross-border payments landscape, and our competitive positioning.
Leadership Development
Create and facilitate a leadership development curriculum for new and existing managers, focusing on coaching, performance management, and building high-performing teams.
Core Training Programs
Identify organizational needs and deliver targeted training on essential topics such as regulatory compliance, security best practices, sales enablement, and effective communication.
Organizational Development
Partner with HR and leadership to drive initiatives related to performance management, career pathing, employee engagement, and succession planning.
L&D Operations
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of all learning programs. Select and manage relevant learning technologies and platforms to support a blended learning approach.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related talent function. This is an individual contributor role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Industry Background: Proven experience in a high-growth technology, SaaS, or fintech environment is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing setting.
  • Instructional Design & Facilitation: Expertise in designing and delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences across various formats (e-learning, virtual instructor-led, in-person workshops).
  • Leadership & Coaching: Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders at all levels, with a strong understanding of management and leadership principles.
  • Business Acumen: A quick learner with the ability to grasp complex technical products and business models. You can translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience using data and analytics to assess learning needs, measure program effectiveness, and demonstrate the ROI of L&D initiatives.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
