Own the end-to-end preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reports across Tazapay’s licensed entities.
Coordinate periodic filings, transaction reports, safeguarding reports, compliance attestations, and other regulatory submissions required by regulators globally.
Maintain a centralized regulatory reporting calendar and ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time.
Partner with Finance, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, Product, and Data teams to gather and validate reporting data.
Perform reconciliations and quality checks to ensure consistency between regulatory reports, financial records, and operational data.
Track regulatory reporting obligations for both existing licenses and newly acquired licenses as Tazapay expands into additional jurisdictions.
Support ongoing compliance obligations for Tazapay’s licensed entities, including:
Singapore Major Payment Institution (MPI) license
Canada Money Services Business (MSB) registration
Hong Kong Money Service Operator (MSO) license
Australia regulatory registrations
US licensing program and future Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs)
Future EU, UAE, and other international licenses
Assist with regulator requests, inspections, audits, and information submissions.
Support new license applications by helping establish reporting processes, control frameworks, and data requirements.
Design and enhance regulatory reporting controls, SOPs, and governance processes.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting workflows and improve data quality.
Maintain documentation for reporting methodologies, assumptions, and regulatory interpretations.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting obligations and internal processes.
Partner with Data Engineering and Finance teams to source regulatory data from internal systems.
Validate data quality and reconcile reported figures against operational and financial records.
Drive automation of regulatory reporting workflows, dashboards, and evidence management processes.
Develop controls and documentation to support audits, regulatory examinations, and internal reviews.
4–8 years of experience in regulatory reporting, regulatory compliance, finance operations, or payments compliance.
Prior experience in a regulated payments, fintech, banking, remittance, or financial services environment.
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting concepts for payment institutions, money services businesses, or money transmitters.
Experience working with regulators such as MAS, FINTRAC, Hong Kong Customs & Excise, AUSTRAC, US state regulators, or equivalent authorities is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work with large datasets and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with cross-border payments, virtual accounts, treasury operations, or safeguarding reconciliations.
Familiarity with SQL, ClickHouse, BI tools, or data reporting platforms.
Experience supporting multi-jurisdiction licensing programs and regulatory audits.
